Today our campaign released our official introduction video, which explains why Lonnie is running for Congress in New Jersey’s First District.
This video lays out the core idea behind the campaign: America’s political and economic systems are working exactly as they were designed — they just weren’t designed for average Americans.
For decades, the rules of our economy and our political system have increasingly favored wealthy donors, powerful corporations, and entrenched political machines. Meanwhile, working families in South Jersey are dealing with rising housing costs, higher food prices, stagnant wages, and a system that feels more distant and unresponsive every year.
Lonnie is running for Congress to challenge that system and to fight for an economy and a government that works for everyone, not just the powerful few.
This introduction video is the first in a series of videos where we’ll be explaining the campaign’s ideas, proposals, and our vision for the future of South Jersey.
